I’m Myriam, a storyteller, facilitator and community organiser. As an independent consultant, I help nonprofits, institutions and activists amplify their impact through inclusive communication, strategic storytelling and community engagement. My approach is rooted in collective care, co-creation and self-empowerment.
"The experience of working with Myriam was immensely beneficial. With great insight and consideration, she oversaw a decoloniality language and imagery audit of our materials, transforming what may have been a difficult process into a meaningful and interesting one. She worked on her own while making sure we felt heard and included by checking in at the appropriate times. Her understanding of our organisation’s realities meant her recommendations weren’t just theoretical—they were practical and actionable. The audit report, FAQ, training session, and decolonial communication guidelines she delivered have already made a real impact on how we approach our work. We’re so grateful for her guidance and highly recommend working with her!"
"Myriam's contribution to our training days for healthcare professionals was indispensable, so to speak. It enabled us to shed light on fundamental notions such as systemic racism, and to understand how it influences care practices and concerns healthcare professionals. His pedagogical skills, his well-documented work and his ability to get the participants thinking were much appreciated. I can only recommend her high-quality presentations."
"I have known and worked on different projects with Myriam for years now. She is a passionate and very dedicated person, who is involved in her work at 200%.
She is very creative and well organised and she has always been able to respect deadlines.
She has strong communicative skills and always interacts with people with calmness and respect. Within our collective 'Bi Pan Bruxelles', where we organise speaking groups, she always facilitates them with ease, making everyone comfortable and creating a feeling of safeness, where it is possible to participate without feeling judged.
Finally, I love how she sees the world through her feminist decolonial lens; her ability to believe in utopias, where everything is possible, no matter how hard it may look."
"There are those people who have an aura that they carry around them so that everyone they meet automatically feels comfortable and seen. Myriam is one of those people. Not only does she have the knowledge and expertise to get entire (and even quite big) organizations working on anti-racism and decoloniality, she also has the charisma to bring everyone into the process regardless of the knowledge level of the people she works with. She knows how to handle things, and has the pedagogical knowledge and know-how to make the best of any type of situation. It was an absolute pleasure to work with her."
